Over the next 24 hrs it re-expands to fill gaps, cracks and inconsistencies in the lumber, creating a rock-hard bond between the subfloor and joist. Multi-floor and below-grade builds can exhibit air sealing issues not seen in single story homes due to the potential for air leakage between the subfloor and joists.
