Designed to adapt from metal female pipe thread to PEX, copper or CPVC tubing on the cold water side only of a hot and cold water supply system. Where hot or changing temperatures are likely to be encountered, utilize a short metal nipple in conjunction with a Genova universal fitting special female adapter. PTFE tape is the accepted method of sealing pipe threads or CPVC fittings.
